After growing up in a tiny town in Texas, Teri attended Emerson College in Boston, and got to California as fast as she could. Her work in automotive design took her all over the U.S., Europe, and Japan as part of the global design team for Nissan North America. After years of travel, she moved to Austin, Texas to raise her family—but never really stopped moving. These days, she brings her kids along on her adventures, exploring new places together and seeing the world through their eyes. Travel has helped her connect more deeply with her two teenagers, her friends, and herself. It’s opened her eyes to new cultures, new ways of living, and new ways of finding joy. Now also a Portuguese citizen, she’s fallen in love with the easy lifestyle, the stunning scenery, the amazing food, and the warmth of the people there. She’s incredibly grateful for the chance to keep exploring—and always excited for whatever adventure is next.

When not traveling, Teri lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Chris and two teenage daughters Zoe and Shelby, along with an adorable Schnauzer named Stache. When she's finished planning incredible trips for herself or her clients, she can be found riding her horse Lucky and jumping over fences higher than makes her husband comfortable.
